More than just being the gambling Mecca of the world, Las Vegas is also one of the most expensive places to be. However, there are several things that you could do in order for you to save a fortune on what you are supposed to be spending on. Contrary to what a lot of people who went to Las Vegas have been saying, you can live a good life without spending a fortune. Of course, it all depends on how you enjoy yourself when you are in Las Vegas.

If you consider yourself as the filed trip kind of person who can live with just looking and touring around without spending anything at all, then you can live comfortably in Las Vegas. In fact, you will be able to enjoy your stay in Las Vegas more if you will be wiser in spending your money. A lot of people go to Las Vegas to gamble while half of the people in Las Vegas is there just to look and walk around.

They would charge for the time that you are inside the cab. As we all know, there are lots of people in Las Vegas which means there is a lot of traffic going on. If you know what I am talking about, you would realize that you can spend so much time inside a cab from point A going to point B. And more time inside the taxi cab means the higher your taxi fare is.

At night, walking would be the smartest thing to do from one place to another. Traffic can be really bad at night In Las Vegas so if you want to save time and money, go ahead and walk around instead. You will definitely get to your destination faster by foot. If in case you are the type of person who loves to buy a lot of things, I suggest you rent a car instead over taking the cab. It would be more practical and more convenient. Unless you have to take the cab badly, I would highly suggest that you tour around Las Vegas by foot.

As for getting the real taste of what Las Vegas has to offer, you might want to start with slot machines. You might get really get lucky and win much more than you can expect. Next off, you might want to try the roulette wheel and then you can lay a couple of chips. These are considered as baby stuff around the place so you might want to try other games such as poker. Poker is probably the most popular game in Las Vegas and you can never consider a trip complete without playing poker.
